I have a big upgrade I would like to start by the end of this month, and I've been putting a shopping list together as seen below, with existing stuff to the left side and stuff I want to upgrade to on the right. I would like some second opinion. Thanks. CPU: Core 2 Duo E6600 2 x 2.4 GHz -----> Core 2 Quad Q9550 4 x 2.83 GHz * No, I'm not waiting for Nehalem. I want the chipsets to mature first...

I got this bag with a gift card, otherwise I would've felt kind of ripped off. Especially with a heavy combo like 5D + grip + 100-400L, it gets quite heavy. I still think that Think Tank has a long way to go in producing ergonomic designs. The strap could use some serious work, too. I wish Lowepro would mod their slingshot 300 AW into a toploader design. The slingshots "hug" your body when ...

My 80 year old friend went into hospital due to confusion caused by a water infection. For many years she has been on anti-psychotic medication because of mental health issues when she was in her 40s. Her anti-psychotic tablets have been stopped in hospital and she is now suffering from hallucinations - this has happened in the past whenever she forgot her medication and when she went ...

Replying to: hello? That often happens...strep cannot really be accurately diagnosed by appearance alone. A white spot on the tonsils and some redness is really not characteristic of strep. If anything, strep has petechiae - these appear as multiple red dots of different shapes on the palate, uvula, etc. The white dot may have even been food. If she did have a sinus infection, it would ...

Replying to: Breast Lump I am so sorry to have to welcome you to the club. But know that there are many caring folks here so you can feel secure. You are quite young to have breast cancer, but it is not unknown. So it is good you are being careful! Smart Gal! You'd be surprised at how many of us ignore what our bodies tell us only to regret it later. Cancers are as individual as ...

Replying to: DCIS Hi, I'm Vivian. I thought I'd add my experience just for comparison and perspective. I was diagnosed with DCIS last July after a surgical biopsy that was 4cm and no clear margins. Also, it was receptor negative, and high grade. The next step was an MRI to determine the extent of the cancer. It turned out to be so extensive (I'm very small breasted), that I could see ...

Volga Bolgar wrote: Turkey couldve been prosperous by Scott Gilbreath ~ November 17th, 2008 Turkish academics maintain that Turkey would now be a prosperous member of the European Union if only the Greeks had not been forced out and the Armenians killed in the early 20th century. A public argument has broken out after Defence Minister Vecdi Gönül defended the expulsions of Greeks and ...

Those poor libs just cannot get their message out ..... Following are some random examples of media bias - from Medicare, to abortion, to TV commentators. I don't have the time to post all the information I find, and I don't update this page very much anymore, so please make sure to check out The Media Research Center and The Media Bias Web Site for a detailed look at media bias ...

For some backround info... Our office installed 2008 C3D earlier this year and we've spent the last 4-5 months training for 2008 Civil 3D... and just recently had 2009 installed as well, looks like more training ahead. I was puzzled though, Land Desktop 2009 came along with the installation package. I was under the assumption that Civil 3D was supposed to replace Land Desktop, but it looks like ...

Take a look at the RCP below. I took an out-of-the-box Recessed Direct-Indirect Light - Symmetrical, placed it in a ceiling, arrayed it 5 times, selected the array, and arrayed that 5 times. For some reason, Revit decides that the second group in each array does not cut the ceiling. The 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th do, but not the 2nd. Huh? Also, if you mirror the fixture, sometimes it cuts the ...

Howdie all. A colleague of mine came in two weeks ago to obtain a macro that input numbers that iterated, and offset rows. I want something comparable, but instead the rows for my workbook are merged. I've tried a few things to modify his code but Im either missing something or have just missed it entirely. It works great on single,...
