I agree with everyone else...get a second opinion. I think his doctor found his medical license in a cracker jack box! I also agree with Helen...appendicitis CAN last for that long. I know it's not a widely accepted theory in medicine (different doctors have different views) but my best friend's dad, the one physician who I trusted 100% fully, believed fully that a person can suffer from a ...

My 80 year old friend went into hospital due to confusion caused by a water infection. For many years she has been on anti-psychotic medication because of mental health issues when she was in her 40s. Her anti-psychotic tablets have been stopped in hospital and she is now suffering from hallucinations - this has happened in the past whenever she forgot her medication and when she went ...

Replying to: hello? That often happens...strep cannot really be accurately diagnosed by appearance alone. A white spot on the tonsils and some redness is really not characteristic of strep. If anything, strep has petechiae - these appear as multiple red dots of different shapes on the palate, uvula, etc. The white dot may have even been food. If she did have a sinus infection, it would ...

Replying to: DCIS Hi, I'm Vivian. I thought I'd add my experience just for comparison and perspective. I was diagnosed with DCIS last July after a surgical biopsy that was 4cm and no clear margins. Also, it was receptor negative, and high grade. The next step was an MRI to determine the extent of the cancer. It turned out to be so extensive (I'm very small breasted), that I could see ...

Me too wrote: Nowhere did I say that I hate Mexicans. I do however, hate their BEHAVIOR. My opinion of other low life characters in our society is irrelevant - this forum is about Mexicans. But, to humor you, I'll add that white trash is just as bad - the problem is that they BELONG here and CAN'T be deported. Funny though, how white trash and Mexicans seem to gravitate toward each other...

Even after almost 2 years I still feel like I’m relatively new at Caregiving, and from this article it was advice on FACILITATING that rang clear with me. At the moment what I’m finding most difficult is dealing with my sons Medical Team..having read his notes from over a year ago, they take one look at him with their pre-conceived ideas and how he’s presenting, and seem to write ...

Re: Post #11 I emailed to the email address listed for Dr. Keating yesterday. I haven't heard anything yet, but I am in hopes that I will hear before I go to see my oncologist Wednesday. I would like to have the specifics of what I would need to do to get a second opinion from Keating. Let us know when you hear from his office, okay? He may only require copies of your records to ...

I think the doctor meant that your daughter has a tendency to have seizures. "More likely to have more seizures" probably just means "likely to have more seizures," or "more likely than we originally thought." It's probably not a comparison to other kids. One thing you should do is request a copy of each test your daughter has, including any that were done in the ER if she was taken in. It'...

Recs: 7 A letter to my family and friends re: my current view of IMMR and the shares.... Message Hello everybody -- It's been quite a while since I've had something to say about Immersion. Over the intervening period we've seen significant changes in the global economy and the markets, and last week the company reported its 3rd quarter results, providing hints ...

This article is 6 years old and very long but I feel that it is a good read as it goes to great lengths to back up its points. http://www.splcenter.org/intel/intel...le.jsp?pid= 244 As Germany's defeat loomed during the final months of World War II, Adolf Hitler increasingly lapsed into delusional fits of fantasy. Albert Speer, in his prison writings, recounts an episode in which a...

Cross posted from IVF Support.... I have been reading about everyone but being somewhat quiet. Everything seems fine with the Seamonkey, we had an ultrasound last week at 8 weeks 1 day and the heartrate was 171. I am struggling with really crippling anxiety. I have had anxiety issues in the past and I thought I know what bad anxiety was, but this is beyond anything I have experianced...
