I'm planning to hook up a Yagi antenna on my roof for FM reception. I've got the Yagi, chimmney mounting straps, 300 ohm to 75 ohm transformer, now I need some cable. People seem to favor the solid copper, well shielded RG-6 type cable. Belden 1694A cable appears to have the specs I need. Anyone know a good source?

Quote from: Rocket on Today at 02:14:49 am I'm going to place an order for some blue jeans cables. The hifi shop was raving how much better the xlo would sound and I heard no difference. Am I deaf? or is this all just voodoo regarding cables. The blue jeans speaker cables are just Belden 5000 cable. You should be able to find an equivalent locally and save some money. You ...

Now one week into the Pro-197 and "object-oriented" scanning. Pretty comfortable with the operation of the radio, graduating for the Pro-2096, which is no slouch in the scanner department and a great radio in its own right. So why the purchase? Well, the Radio Shack F&F discount plus the $100 off discount essentially made it a no-brainer--- that coupled with the 30 day return policy definately...

I'm having one of my contract companies pull some cable for my auditorium upgrade. I need 3 cables pulled for line level program and sub amps. They are going to pull Belden-M 9451 2C22. Is that right??? The distance will be about 100-125ft. The cable will connect a LS9 and two power amps.

If that's the case I would recommend Belden 1505F I second that. I have those on my Moded SL1800MKII and the bass is killer. | |
