Does anyone out there make an Aluminium bumper? I've had a scout around, and the only one I can find is by Body Armour, sadly I personally dont like the heavy looking styling of that one, and its appraoch angle doesn't look much better than the big ol fat stock plastic monstrosity! It seems one of the major issues with the after market bumpers is weight, esp when winches and things get...

I've bent/cracked my inner tie rod at the shaft/ball joint (I know, I know...just resist the wise-crack temptations for a second). I took it into a place that was clueless who said that wasn't the problem, but didn't even pull the boot. It didn't help that we had already adjusted the tie rod to fix the steering pull and dash light disco which began once the rig was pulled out. Group ...

Firstly, snow chains / tire chains have been proven to provide a tremendous increase in grip in snow and mud slush. Secondly, they can be required by law in certain areas and weather conditions. So if you want to get the best of the best for winter and offroad, which one should you get? I'm running 265/70R17 Firestone Destination M/T. I deliberately stayed with the standard size wheels ...

Hi, i just missed hitting 2 deers here in northern wi, the first was about 25 feet away when i slammed my brakes while i was doing 80. The other was just chilling on the road so we met early ... my question is has anyone had or heard about all pro and deers getting together.? I feel like they were low for my front end with their highest point just sitting as high as my bumper, and i have ...

Just received the metal tech tube doors they are bad ass! Toyota has quick disconnects for the speaker system and this covers that aspect. Most of the time was taken by figuring out parts and where to put them like most products. I would say once they are assembled you could flop your old doors back on in 20-30 minutes...not bad! The original install took about an hour we disassembled the ...

ok guys need some of that great FJ Forum advice. I'm keep going back and forth on what is best. i have an 07 AT Tit' with OEM skid plate. I really love the "rally" look and don't know if the "skid" plates on the bull bars that are out there are better/worse than the OEM, or is a plain ole light bar that doesn't require removal of skid plate better? Another issue is the bull bars are usually 2 ...

My 1.5 year old EP9000 stopped spooling in and I diagnosed it with a bad solenoid. After Ordering a replacement at a cost of $107.00 I decided to take the existing one apart. The pictures show the corrosion inside. There is moisture inside so the "SEA" was no good.

I am needing info and any pics of which sliders are better, the Demello or the trailgear, I have read that the trail gear has a bad rap for getting damaged in shipping and not comming with everything, they even say on their website scatches and rub markes may happen in shipping, that makes me uneasy about them, I have read nothing but good things about demello, I am looking at the round demello ...

Can I use a winch extension strap, such as an ARB Winch Extension Strap (17,500 lb rating), for towing a vehicle? I'm not talking extraction of a bogged down vehicle. For that, a snatch strap would be used. But, merely for simple towing a very short distance, would it be OK to use a winch extension strap?
