I scored a really nice pork leg roast recently for $1.99/lb - a really nice specimen, well trimmed and boneless, 4.2 lb. I couldn't decide how to cook it - slow roasting in a 200 F oven to about 160 F, or braising it all the way to 200 F! ...so I think I'll spend some time outside smoking chicken! Gonna clean out the fist today. After the hog it's got a bit of build up on the bottom of the chamber. I figure, "As long as I'm out there..." My new term begins on Tuesday and I have nightmares of not being able to fire up the smoker for months.
