Hey guys just wondering how do you guys give your seizure medicine to your little ones?

Bre has her first outpatient MRI/EEG on Friday, and will be sedated with chloral hydrate.  Will they have us change her into a hospital gown?  Just curious if I should bring a bag to schlep her clothes around in.  Will she have a saline lock or some kind of IV access just in case?  Also, she is CL after midnight and NPO after 6 AM.  We have a hour drive to the hospital and we check in an ...

It cost $50 for 2 syringes. How do you moms do it with kid that uses Diastat multiple times? We haven't used it yet, wanted to a couple of times. Whoa!

Hey Everyone, A couple of weeks ago I had to take Sidney, my 4 yr old DD, to her asthma doctor.  While we were there her doctor said that he was concerned that Sidney may have enlarged adenoids which could cause sleep apnea.  I told him then that I had never been concerned about Sidney having sleep apnea, but that I had often wondered about Eli because since he was a newborn he has held his ...

Wow, I stressed out over NOTHING!  I packed the diastat in the carrying case I keep in my purse in our checked baggage.  I put the diastat in the original manufacturers packaging with the prescription label on it and Felbatol, an 8oz original manufacturers bottle with prescription label on it, in a gallon sized ziploc bag (diastat packaging is large) and put it in a tote with Jackson's shoes.  ...
